Why choose a prep school? What can independent education offer that is not supplied by your local primary school? Because you will be faced with fee paying you have a right to have high expectations and prep schools know that they have to deliver.

They will not succeed in making a child of average ability a Winchester scholar, they will not turn a tone deaf boy or girl into a chorister, they will not create a sportsman or woman out of an uncoordinated slouch, nor will they turn a limited talent into an Oscar-winning actor.
